MULTI BAND Tribute to Michael Begala
Valley of the Moon / 2544 E Allen Rd.

A musical celebration of Mike Begala's life. Donations ($10 suggested) will be given to Valley of the Moon in Michael's name. VOM was one of Mike's favorite places to play. The stage looks out into the Catalinas and is truly a magical place. Bring a candle to light after sunset.

The 7 band lineup (includes 4 that Michael played with during his many years in Tucson): 1:00 Linda Lou and the Desert Drifters, 1:50 Crosscut Saw, 2:45 NNY, 3:30 Garcia Bros, 4:15 West River Band, 5:00 Wayback Machine, 6:30 Top Dead Center

Wayback's special guests include Amochip Dabney on saxes, Mitzi Cowell on guitar, Les Merrihew on drums, and extra special guest Bill Pierce on the Hammond B-3 organ. Bill may be familiar to many as the guy who runs sound on the big stage at the folk fest, but he is also a veteran of many bands including the great Mood Indigo, a Dead cover and original music band from the 1990s.
